
In the Primorsky Territory, the Eurocopter-AC-350 helicopter crashed. The pilot and passenger died, Interfax reports with reference to the senior assistant to the head of the Far Eastern Investigation Department of Transport by Natalya Salkin. When flying around the helicopter crash site, the body of the dead passenger was visually discovered. The pilot’s body was previously discovered.
“Initially, when the scene of the incident from the Mi-8 helicopter due to bad weather conditions, the body of the second deceased person was not visible. According to relatives, this may be the general director of Ratimir LLC, who has not been in touch for a long time. However, the identity of the deceased has not yet been established,” Salkina said.
According to her, in the search, local residents and specialists of the Far Eastern regional search and rescue detachment of the Ministry of Emergencies were involved. The corpse of the deceased pilot - a resident of the village of Garovka - was identified by relatives and delivered to a nearby winter house.
On the fact of the disaster, a criminal case has been instituted under part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code ("Violation of the rules of traffic safety and the operation of air transport by a person, due to the work performed and the position being held, obligated to comply with these rules, which entailed by negligence the death of two or more persons").
