As the head of the Department of the Federal State Employment Service of the Samara Region Nikolai Grishchenko said, due to mass abbreviations at Samara enterprises, the employment service expects about 10 thousand new unemployed.

The largest number of dismissals is possible in Togliatti, where state reduction will be held at 44 enterprises, in Samara, where 36 enterprises are reduced in Syzran and Novokuybyshevsk, where reductions are expected at 5 and 4 enterprises, respectively.

Due to the growth of unemployment, the regional employment service plans to adapt citizens who are under threat of dismissal. People will be retrained to new professions and employment.

According to the new federal law, which entered into force on January 1, citizens who have resigned from enterprises of their own free will have equal rights with abbreviated ones and have the right to receive the same benefit, the maximum value of which is 4900 rubles.
