Hamas rejected a truce with Israel

Hamas will not accept the conditions of the truce proposed by Israel. With such a statement in Qatar at a meeting with the leaders of the Arab countries, one of the leaders of the Khaled Mashal movement made, Haaretz reports.

According to Mashal, Hamas will cease to fire and missile shelling of Israeli territories only after all the compounds of the IDF leave the Gaza sector. The representative of Hamas also called on participants in the meeting to interrupt all relations with the state of Israel.

Earlier it was reported that Israel and Hamas have concluded a truce for a period of two weeks. A truce was supposed to enter into force within 72 hours. One of its conditions was the consent of both parties to the presence of international observers in the conflict zone. The fact that Hamas accepts a truce is also reported by an influential Arab newspaper Al-Shark Al-Ausat.

According to unofficial information, Israel demanded the complete cessation of terrorist activities of both Hamas and other Palestinian movements. In addition, Israel intended to submit a list of five thousand people who would be forbidden to cross the border of the Gaza sector with Egypt through the Rafach checkpoint.
