The market of Russian shares completed the auction on Wednesday growth of most liquid papers and basic indices followed by the rise of American stock sites and oil, Interfax reports. The RTS index exceeded 530 points. Recall that on the eve of the RTS, it rolled into the area of 500 points - this is the level of November 2003. Then in Russia there was an unprecedented collapse of the market, primarily caused by the arrest of Mikhail Khodorkovsky at the end of October.
According to the results of the Wednesday on the RTS and FB MICEX exchange, the cost of “blue chips” increased by 0.6-5.3%, the RTS index rose to 530.09 points (+3.07%), the MICEC -UPU 583.39 points (+2.38%).
Futures on the RTS index to close the session sank by 11 points to the basic asset, which indicates the preservation of speculators in the market.
Lukoil shares (+4.3% at the MICEX and+5.3% in the RTS), Surgutneftegaz (+4.4% and+4.9%), Tatneft (+5.3% at the MMEVB), Gazprom oil (+3.8%) were in the growth leaders.
Support for the market on Wednesday was also provided by the news that the Government of the Russian Federation wrapped up the export duties on Nickel and reduced to copper and its alloys, which contributed to a speculative leap in the sector of the metallurgists. The shares of the "Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant" grew by 6%, and Norilsk Nickel papers, although they reacted with a local jump in prices, went minus by 0.4%to the closure of trading.
Most of the auction on Wednesday on world stock venues was predominated by a decrease in indices - Asia and Europe fell. The data on the number of unemployed in December in the UK were slightly better than expectations (the number of unemployed grew by 77.9 thousand with growth forecasts by 81 thousand), but could not turn away negative trends.
Meanwhile, American exchanges opened up with growth in expectations that the plan for saving banks in the new US President Barack Obama will support the financial sector. Also, against this background, oil rose. The price of a WTI brand in the evening of Wednesday evening was $ 41.77 per barrel (+$ 0.93).
