The Investigative Committee at the prosecutor's office appealed to the court with a petition for the absentee arrest of the former co -owner of the Euroset company Evgeny Chichvarkin. According to Kommersant on Friday, the investigation issued a decision to attract Chichvarkin as the accused in the case of abduction of a person and extortion, putting him on the federal wanted list. According to Kommersant, Chichvarkin left for London in December. Correspondence arrest is necessary in order to put the entrepreneur on an international wanted list.

The petition for the arrest of Chichvarkin was sent to the court on the past Wednesday. The head of the press service of the Moscow City Court Anna Usacheva clarified that it will be considered in the Basmanny Court of Moscow on January 28. In late January-early February, the same court will consider the extension of the arrest of other defendants in the criminal case-Vice President of Security of Euroset Boris Levin, his deputy Alexander Ermilin, security officers Sergei Kutorgin and Vitaliy Zverkunov. They are accused of abduction of a person, extortion and arbitrariness, and as former employees of power structures are contained in the special block of the pre -trial detention center in Kapotne.

The day before, it became known that Chichvarkin is in exile due to an exacerbation of the situation around the criminal case about the smuggling of cell phones and extortion, previously excited against the company's management. However, the documents for the official registration of the "right -hand" were handed over to the Ministry of Justice without the Moscow branch on January 21.
