In Perm, two girls left in the house of a mother died in a fire

Two girls of five and two years died in a fire in Perm on the night of Saturday, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in the Perm Territory reports on Saturday.

"On Friday after 20:00, the residents of one of the apartments of a 5-storey building, located on Gagarin Boulevard, felt the smell of smoke. In the process of bypassing the entrance, they found that the smell of smoke spreads from a one-room apartment on the 4th floor. Calling the fire department, the residents were contacted by the housewife of the apartment, which at that time was not at home," the said in the house. Press Service.

Opening the apartment, the woman found her two daughters lying on the floor. "One child was in the kitchen, the second in the bathroom. The arrived firefighters began to assist children. Then doctors joined, but resuscitation actions were not successful. Doctors stated the death of children," the press service said.

As it turned out, the mother, laying the children to sleep, left them alone. "The fire arose on the chair installed in the living room. The preliminary cause of the fire is children's prank. Other versions are also being worked out," the Ministry of Emergencies added.
