Law enforcement agencies of Moscow prevented an explosion in a mosque on Poklonnaya Gora. This action was supposed to become the following in the explosions in the capital in 2008-2009, on suspicion of involvement in which a group of persons has already been detained , the Kommersant newspaper writes on Monday. The Investigative Directorate of the UPP in Moscow charged two detainees - David Bashalutsky and Stanislav Lukhmyrin, but so far only one episode - an attempt by an explosion in the McDonald's restaurant.
According to the publication, the investigation in the near future is retraining this criminal case for an article on trying to kill two or more persons in a generally hazardous way, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy. The maximum punishment on it is a lifelong conclusion. In the near future, Basheluskov and Lukhmyrin will be charged with other episodes of their crimes. In many of them they have already confessed.
According to the FSB, the detainees may be involved, in particular, by the explosion on January 16, 2009 at the McDonald's restaurant in Kuzminki, undermining the access roads in the area of the Tsaritsyno station on October 5, 2008, the main railway track of the Paveletsky branch in the area of the Bulatnikovo station on November 4, 2008 and the explosion in the Church of Nikolai Merliki miracle worker in the Biryulo region on November 30, 2008. In addition, according to preliminary data, the suspects may be involved in the commission of a series of murders in Moscow on the basis of interethnic hatred, the FSB said.
Nationalists moved to Moscow after the murder of Azerbaijani
As it turned out during the investigation, the inhabitants of Volgograd Bashelutsky and Lukhmyrin moved to Moscow in the spring of 2008. Both in their hometown were put on the wanted list. On June 20, 2007, according to the investigation, they killed a certain Bagirov, Azerbaijani by nationality. After that, the suspects hid about six months from the police in rented apartments - first in Novorossiysk, then in Volzhsk, and then moved to Moscow, RIA Novosti reports.
In Moscow, Bashelut and Lukhmyrin met with a freshman of the Academy of Water Transport Evgenia Zhikhareva, who has repeatedly fallen into the field of view of law enforcement agencies as an active participant in the youth radical movement of the nationalist sense. She brought young people with a group of followers of ancient Slavic cults. Under the influence of new friends, they believes the investigation, came to the conclusion that Russia must be cleaned not only of foreigners, but also from the wrong faith to which they referred to Orthodoxy.
The terrorists wanted fame
The investigation still considers vanity to be the main motive of the actions of Bashelutskov and Lukhmyrin. They really wanted to become famous on television and in newspapers. The reaction of the media to several murders of foreigners committed by young people seemed sluggish to them. Therefore, they decided to implement a series of explosions in Moscow, the newspaper writes.
Bombs for the manufacture of bombs, according to Kommersant, were downloaded from the Internet by converts from the Internet. They made aluminum powder for the bomb on their own, and in household stores they bought fertilizer containing ammonium nitrate. They built a bomb in their rented apartment in Lyubertsy. As a detonator, the demolitions used the usual firecracker, because they feared that a more complex chemically fuse (they also learned about it from the Internet) could lead to an undermining of the device during transportation.
According to the investigation, on November 4 last year, Bashelutkov and Lukhmyrin blew up a bomb on the access roads in the area of the Tsaritsyno railway station, then the rails at the Bulatnikovo station. After that, the Gentiles left a bomb in the church of Nikolai Mirliki's Wonderworker in the Biryulo-West area. One of the ministers, who tried to take out a suspicious bag, received burns of face and hands.
However, the reaction of the media did not suit them again. Then young people, notes the publication, decided to organize a terrorist attack with a large number of victims. The McDonald's restaurant in Kuzminki was chosen as an object for the explosion. According to the investigation, Bashelutskov and Lukhmyrin based on ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder made an explosive device with a total weighing of 2.5 kg. Explosives were placed in a three -liter jar. As a striking element, the demolitions mixed up many fragments of ceramic and glass products into the explosive mixture, and also placed a plastic cup, filled with coins of 10 and 50 cents.
But the restaurant visitors were lucky. Bringing a bomb in the premises of McDonald, young people accidentally hit the front door with a backpack. The bank crashed, and most of the explosive mixture spilled into a backpack. Therefore, the force of the explosion was insignificant and did not lead to consequences expected by terrorists.
Then Bashelutkov and Lukhmyrin planned an even more loud crime. They decided to blow up the mosque on Poklonnaya Gora. Moreover, at the scene of the crime, it was supposed to leave a note of nationalist content. As explosives planned, the action was supposed to provoke religious clashes in Moscow. It was not possible to realize the ominous plan for the Rodnovers, as investigators say, due to circumstances that are beyond them.
By this moment, they were already observed by the employees of Moore and the FSB. Both were taken near the mosque on Poklonnaya Gora. As the detainees themselves later told the investigators during interrogation, they just chose the departure paths there after the explosion. In their apartment, components of a homemade explosive device were found, as well as a flash drive, which contained a detailed photo report about creating a bomb.
