Three children died as a result of a fire in a private house of the village of Shamara of the Shalinsky district of the Sverdlovsk region on Monday night. Another girl and mother of children are hospitalized with burns. A two -story wooden house in which a large family lived completely burned out.

According to the head of the press service of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Sverdlovsk Region Valery Gorelykh, at the third hour of the morning a fire broke out in the house. Since the house is wooden, the fire spread very quickly. The two -story wooden house along Herzen Street was still completed, but a family in which there were seven children already lived in it. According to the head of the press service of the regional police department, three dead children spent the night on the second floor, the rest on the first. How many people were in the house, he did not specify.

“According to preliminary data, the fire occurred due to a violation of the rules of operation of electrical equipment. According to one version, the children could be heated on the second floor,” the Gorelykh said.

An investigation began. Currently, local authorities decide where to settle the family.
