
Russian biathletes failed on Friday to compete for medals in a sprint race of 7.5 kilometers with two fire lines in the final stage of the World Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk.
The faster of all this distance was overcome by German Tina Bakhmann. The second result was shown by her compatriot Simon Hausvald, who lagged behind the winner 3.7 seconds. Swede's leaders closed the top three Anna-Karin Olofson-Zidek. All winners did without misses.
The best of the Russians was the debutant of the national team, the absolute winner of the Junior championship of Europe Olga Vilukhina, who took sixth place. She shot off without misfires, but Bahmann lost 40.5 seconds.
