The regime of counter -terrorism operation has been introduced in Ingushetia

The Office of the Federal Security Service for Ingushetia introduced the regime of a counter -terrorism operation in a number of settlements of the republic in connection with the information about the prepaid series of terrorist attacks, the representative of the Office told RIA Novosti.

"There is information that in the settlements of Nesterovskaya, Chemulga, Datty, peasants, halashki and Alkhast of the Sunzhensky district, armed members of the gang underground are hidden. According to available information, they intend to perform a series of terrorist acts in the territory of Ingushetia," the agency’s interlocutor said.

According to him, the head of the operational headquarters in Ingushetia from 10.00 announced the indicated settlements with the zone of the counter -terrorism operation, the police blocked the district.

The regime who provides for the restriction of the access of citizens and vehicles to the specified territory, as well as their enhanced inspection.

The last time a major special operation in Ingushetia was carried out in the first half of February. Then several militants were blocked in one of the private houses and led a powerful explosive device. One policeman died, two law enforcement officers were injured.
