In recent years, the regular Russian basketball championship has been very boring: CSKA always won it without options, and tickets to the playoffs were almost always won the same clubs-a knowledgeable person could have called an eight from a dozen at the start. But this year (precisely in this, from January), the Krasnoyarsk "Yenisei" suddenly went into growth, which was not noted with any achievements. In December, this team made a risky acquisition in December by buying a powerful Latvian striker Caspers Kambalu. He had already played before in Russia - for Kazan UNICS, but two and a half years ago he was caught in smoking marijuana and got a collapsed two years of disqualification. He announced that he was finishing and going into professional boxing. Perm in the Russian Federation of basketball (RFB) was believed to the word and on March 11 they allowed to deduct the head coach - he was conditionally allowed to participate in the championship until March 26. And the game in Vladivostok was the 27th. And since the debts did not have time to close, in the RFB almost at night - taking into account the difference in time between Moscow and Vladivostok - they held an operational meeting and decided to withdraw a license from Caesar for an indefinite time.

Left without a coach, the Ural Grait lost a key match and immediately filed a protest on the commissar arbitrariness: “This decision had a direct impact on the distribution of seats in the Russian championship, including the chances of Ural Grait to break into the playoffs.” The protest has not yet been considered, but the result of the match in any case will remain in force.

And already on March 30, the Ural Grait quickly paid with all the waiting, and the 31st Alexander Kesar was returned to the coaching bridge-exactly to the game in Rostov against the local Lokomotiv. And the rising team was a leader for quite some time in the account, but then the Rostovites remembered that it would be nice for them to book seventh place for themselves, withdrawing from CSKA in the first round of matches for departure, and greatly added in the last quarter. Lokomotiv defeated, the Ural Grait will now remain 99% ninth, and the club thinks: is it worth it to extend the contract with the coach who did not fulfill the task of this season for the next season?
