
At the Sochi airport, an emergency landing was made by the Tu-204 Airlines Red Wings, which was flying from Moscow to Sharm El Sheikh, RIA Novosti reports with reference to a source in Rosaeronavigation.
The liner refused the right engine. “The car is new, the reason for the refusal is not yet known,” the agency’s interlocutor is in the department. Currently, the aircraft is inspected by specialists of technical services.
Interfax, citing the Ministry of Emergencies, reports that 198 passengers and eight crew members were on board the aircraft. None of them were injured.
Passengers are placed in the air terminal building. The issue of providing them with another liner for departure to Egypt is being resolved.
