The Office of the Ministry of Justice for the Primorsky Territory on Thursday re -refused to register as a public organization a partnership of initiative citizens of Russia. According to Kommersant, officials motivated the decision by the fact that the name of the movement that organized a series of large -scale anti -government manifestations “does not correspond to the declared goals” - the construction of civil society.
The first time the Department of the Ministry of Justice for the Primorsky Territory refused to register a tiger in April 2009. Then the officials indicated that the subject of the ROO does not indicate the subject of the Federation in whose territory she intends to conduct activities. Also in the charter of the tiger, the goal and objectives of the organization were not disclosed.
Member of the Coordinating Council of Tiger Maxim Vedenev is sure that the repeated refusal of registration is "caused by political motives." "The ministers made it clear that the decision to refuse was made upstairs. The authorities did not want the opposition movement to receive official status," he said. Nevertheless, he promised that attempts to register the movement would continue.
"We will either submit documents for the third time to the Ministry of Justice, or appeal the refusal to register in court. We will decide after consulting with lawyers," said Maxim Vecenev. According to him, having received the status of a legal entity, the tiger will have the opportunity to send official requests to the authorities and conduct independent public events. So far, the movement is forced to hold joint protests with the Communist Party.
