Infox.ru information site (Infox-Interactive LLC) filed a lawsuit against the NTV television company in the Moscow Arbitration Court, reports ROem.ru. The editors are going to wean the television company from using someone else's content without a signature, but with the wording "published on the Internet." The amount of the claim is 5 million rubles.
As explained in an interview with ROem.ru, the editor-in-chief of infoh.ru Alexander Pisarev, NTV has repeatedly traceded the content of online publications. And if you take into account that the channel broadcasts on the multimillion-dollar audience, it turns out that the online publication was caused as much possible damage. Therefore, the authors of the content intend to demand such great compensation.
The claim is an audio recording. It was first placed on infoh.ru, and then it was broadcast in the evening issue of the "Today" program without exile to infoh.ru. The online publication fundamentally did not try to resolve the conflict before the trial. “We want to bring to the attention of television companies that any information on the Internet, even if it is just a blog entry, has the author,” Alexander Pisarev explained.
