In the area of ​​the Center-Kamaz of the city of Nazran, unidentified persons shot a car, in which the former Deputy Prime Minister, the current employee of the Government of Ingushetia Bashir Aushev, rode.

“At about 18:30 Moscow time, unidentified persons fired on a car in which Bashir Aushev was traveling on the go. As a result, the attack he received multiple injuries, from which he died when delivered to the hospital,” the Interfax agency was told in the Office of the SCP of the Russian Federation for Ingushetia.

According to the UPP, the attackers moved in a VAZ-2107 car in white and immediately after the attack disappeared.

Currently, operatives and an investigative group are working at the scene. Measures are being held to search and detain the attackers.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia, Bashir Aushev for a long time served as deputy chairman of the Government of Ingushetia. Recently, he has been an employee of the government. During the presidency of Ruslan Aushev in the 90s, he served as head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia.

The reason for the murder of Bashir Aushev may be the revenge of participants in illegal armed groups, the President of the Republic Yunus-Bek Evkurov said on Saturday.

"Bashir Aushev was the deputy minister of the internal affairs of the republic, headed the security council, and then was responsible for the force unit in the government of Ingushetia as Deputy Prime Minister. One of the versions of his murder could be revenge on the part of the militants," Yevkurov said.

As the head of Ingushetia noted, Aushev - "a military personnel, was a devoted man to his business," recently he was retired.

Evkurov also emphasized that in order to ensure the safety of the leadership of the republic, additional measures were taken. "Measures regarding the safety of government members, other officials are accepted, but we work in the republic and our task is to do everything possible so that this kind of facts does not happen," he said.

"In this regard, we continue together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic of the Events to detect and liquidate the NVF participants. In particular, the action movie who was Azerbaijan was destroyed yesterday in the Sunzhensky district. And we will continue the necessary special operations to completely liquidate the militants," the President of Ingushetia said.
