The alleged son of the Vice President of Ichkeria was detained at Domodedovo Airport


Mahmud Abdullaev, who, according to unofficial data, is the son of one of the leaders of Chechen separatists, was detained in the border zone of Domodedovo Airport. According to Interfax , he has been there for several hours. Abdullaev was deported from Egypt to Russia with other students from the North Caucasus, detained on the night of May 27.

Abdullaev, according to some reports, is the son of Sydyan Abdullaev, who, in the case of the death of the leader of the illegal formations of Dokarov Umarov, can take his place. In 2004, the then President of Ichkeria, Aslan Maskhadov, appointed Abdullaev as Minister of Finance. Since March 2007, Doku Umarov appointed Sudyan Abdullaev "Vice President of Ichkeria."

According to some media reports, Mahmud Abdullaev, before going to study in Egypt, received a refugee status in Azerbaijan and seeks to return there.
