President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko believes that it is necessary to look for more effective options for supplies to the country of oil and the sale of petroleum products in order to increase the efficiency of the petrochemical industry, to get a win in the budget and foreign exchange spheres, in the consumer market. He stated this on Tuesday at a meeting on oil refining, BelTA reports.
The President noted that the situation in this industry is stable and predictable. Two Belarusian processing enterprises are loaded, the petrochemical industry is provided by the necessary raw materials. The need and demand for oil products, agriculture and other sectors of the economy are satisfied.
"That is, the task is to not only provide raw materials with oil refineries and petrochemical enterprises, but also achieve a decrease in material, labor and financial costs, to prevent the slightest interruption and even more than the rise in the cost of fuels and lubricants in the domestic market," the head of state said.
Lukashenko also recalled that Belarusian successfully realizes the task of developing oil production in other countries, including Venezuela and Iran. But the main oil flow comes to us from Russia in accordance with the coordinated balance of raw materials of the Union State for 2009 in the amount of 21.5 million tons.
In general, this amount of oil is enough to completely load the production capacities of the Belarusian factories. According to the president, there is a reserve to increase the efficiency of oil supplies. This problem can be solved not only by increasing the share of supplies by oil pipelines, but also using railway transport for the transportation of more high -quality oil, by reducing transportation costs.
