The FSB of the Russian Federation detained drug police and employees of the FSB in the Primorye of an air traffic controller who uses drugs for a long time, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the information group of the regional drug control department.

The air traffic controller of the Vladivostok Center for the Air Movement of the Air Navigation of the Far East branch was detained in the city of Artem. As it turned out, a 25-year-old man responsible for the rise and landing of airliners at the airport of Vladivostok for a long time used drugs of the Cannabian series.

The air traffic controller was detained when he returned home with the next dose of the so -called "Khimki" - a mixture of tobacco with hash oil. As a medical examination showed, he has already managed to use part of the drug.

A criminal case has been instituted against the air traffic controller under Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal storage of drugs), it is on a recognizance not to leave and proper behavior.

As noted in the message, the air traffic control in a state of drug use could lead to an accident with severe consequences, since psychoactive substances are preserved in the body for a long period after using the drug.

The effect of hemp drugs on the body is characterized by a slowdown in the reaction, a deterioration in the coordination of movements, problems with concentration of attention.

In addition, the dispatcher faces the deprivation of a driver’s license for driving a car in a state of drug intoxication.
