In Ukraine, an employee of the tax department shot police officers who convicted him in a bribe

In the Ukrainian city of Zaporozhye, an employee of the tax police showed armed resistance during the detention of police officers from the UBEP, who convicted him of bribery. Three people became victims of the aggressive tax authority.

According to RIA Novosti, citing the Ukrainian Information Agency UNIAN , the incident occurred on Wednesday evening in the Leninsky district of Zaporozhye.

Employees of the regional department for combating economic crime detained when receiving a bribe of tax police officers. At the time of the arrest, one of the employees of the Lenin Tax Inspectorate opened fire. As a result, three UBEP employees are hospitalized with firearms.

According to the Internal Affairs Directorate, the prosecutor's office opened a criminal case on the fact of receiving a bribe by tax police officers. The issue of initiating a criminal case on the fact of shooting is being resolved.
