The senior vice-president of Russian Railways OJSC Fedor Andreev can lead the AK "ALROSA" instead of Sergei Vybornov. This was reported by "Interfax" with reference to a source close to Russian Railways. At the last annual meeting of Alrosa shareholders, Andreev was elected to the company's board of directors as an independent director. Vybornov, on the contrary, was not included in the Council.
The company explained that Sergey Vybnov did not enter the Nabs council in connection with the decision of the state to elect independent directors, not management. At the same time, the vice -president of Alrosa Ivan Demyanov was elected to the new composition of the council - the company explained this by the fact that another major shareholder of the company - the Ministry of Property Relations of the Republic of Yakutia insisted on its entry.
Information about the possibility of Vybnunov’s departure from the post of president of the company appeared in the media earlier, but the company and the Ministry of Finance refuted these messages. "Such a issue was neither by the shareholders of the company or its supervisory board," the Ministry of Finance said in April.
Fedor Andreev came to Russian Railways from the same Alrosa, where until November 2003 he served as the first vice president.
The main shareholder of Alrosa is the Federal Property Management Agency, which owns 50.925%of the shares, Yakutia in the person of the Ministry of Property Relations of the Republic belongs to 32%, eight Yakut uluses - a aggregate of about 8%.
