UEFA softened the punishment for the players "Chelsea" Didier Drogba and Jose Bosingva

The UEFA appeal was a verdict in the case of the London “Chelsea players” Didier Drogba and Jose Busingva, who incorrectly behaved at the end of the second semifinals of the Champions League against Barcelona on May 6 at Stamford Bridge.

After filing an appeal and revising the disqualification case of players in the European arena, they were reduced by one match for each.

Drogba was removed from five matches (two of them - conditionally with a trial period of three years) and fined 15 thousand pounds. The disqualification of Bosingva now applies to three games (one - conditionally with the same trial period), and the fine will be 10 thousand pounds.

Conditional disqualification means that Drogba, for example, will definitely miss the three nearest matches under the auspices of UEFA, and two conditional matches can be delayed during the test period.

Drogba and Bosingva appeared before the football court for violating the principles of professional behavior. They insulted the referees, allowing themselves unacceptable comments with attacks in his direction.
