Speaker Mironov called on "save youth", and not stuffing it with a "public lie"

The speaker of the Federation Council, the leader of Fair Russia Sergey Mironov believes that the state should ensure the normal conditions of the existence of youth so that its innovative potential can be used.

In an interview with Interfax on Saturday, Mironov said that there was no money to support young families or financial assistance to young people in search of work.

"There is not even money for quota of jobs for young specialists. It is impossible to come up with a worst youth policy than a public lie. And today the youth must be saved, first of all, to recognize a publicly terrible and unpleasant truth that Russian youth needs to be salvated both physically and morally. It is necessary to declare war on those businesses that prosper and degradation of the young people," - said Mironov.

“Alcohol and drug merchants, which no one today prevents you from literally killing youth of tens of thousands, criminal leaders and corrupt law enforcement agencies, by the mercy of which young guys fall into the zone for trifling thefts and become inveterate criminals, and the girls begin their life path in brothels. All this must be declared a merciless war,” he said.

“It is also necessary to save young people from television magnates, whose series and talk shows are promoting the cult of strength and social adaptability, pungting drugs and polygamy,” the speaker noted.

“To make these steps - difficult, requiring huge political will, it is necessary, and only then to find out what innovative potential of youth and how to use it for the good of the state,” Mironov said.

Mironov called the reasoning about the innovative potential of youth inappropriate, despite the fact that 70% of young people aged 16 to 25 years have no funds to receive a quality education.

"Modern youth is not only white -toothed, tanned wise men, who are shown on TV in reports from Lake Seliger. Young people are a group of social risk, it is a million street children and two million alcoholics, and one and a half million drug addicts," Mironov said.
