
The bodies of twenty dead in a car accident on the M4-Don car in the Rostov region are identified.
“The bodies of twenty people are identified at this hour, the bodies of 18 dead were given to relatives, another passenger remains unidentified. It is known that the procedure for identifying the body will be held on Sunday,” the Interfax agency was told in the operational headquarters to eliminate the consequences of the accident.
According to the interlocutor of the agency, eight victims remain in the hospitals of the city of Bataisk and Rostov-on-Don, three of them are in serious condition. The headquarters also was canceled that the first funeral of the dead will be held on Sunday.
As previously reported, on July 24, 2009, at about 12 hours on the Don federal highway, a flight bus, which was from Krasnodar to Rostov-on-Don, without reaching the village of Samara, collided with a truck that drove into the oncoming lane.
A criminal case has been instituted on this fact on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of the road that entailed by negligence of the death of a person").
Meanwhile, in the south of Russia, two more large accidents occurred - 10 dead. In Kabardino-Balkaria, five people died when a Zhiguli car collided with the MTZ-80 tractor. The accident occurred on the Cool Baksan highway. VAZ-2107 crashed into a tractor at high speed, all the passengers of the Lada and the driver died.
Another accident in Dagestan: the “seven” Lada fell from a 300-meter mountain cliff. The driver and four passengers died on the spot. According to preliminary information, the accident occurred due to the fact that the driver lost control. According to other sources, he fell asleep at the wheel, reports Echo of Moscow .
