Administrative fines will be paid by SMS messages

Russian Minister of Justice Alexander Konovalov proposed to pay administrative fines using SMS messages, RBC reports. He said this to reporters at a press conference.

According to him, in Russia it is necessary to optimize the system for paying fines, including creating incentives for their speedy introduction of fined. He added that fines should be used more actively as a criminal punishment.

Recall that in a number of Russian regions, payments of fines through terminals and bank cards are already practiced.
