The American company Taser International, a recognized leader in the development of "non -lethal" weapons, introduced a new Taser X3 electric shocker, demonstrating its effectiveness on its own employees.

Earlier in the arsenal of the company there were only single -shot, non -commercial pistols. The novelty makes three shots without reloading, and Taser International states that she has achieved this first in the world, reports Membrane.ru with reference to the Engadget publication.

For immobilization of a person, neuromuscular impulse, which has a small force, is used in electro-electrochoceros pistols, but a sufficiently deep effect on muscle tissue.

The novelty is equipped with an on -board computer, which fixes the interaction of the owner with the weapon and provides it with the necessary data, allowing, for example, with high accuracy to regulate the voltage and current strength. This was made possible thanks to the “Impulse Calibration System”, which Taser International is very proud of. The system of two lasers is responsible for the accuracy of guidance.

The company also reports that the X3 "electrodes with much lower energy penetrate deep into the body", and the gun itself is able to withstand "sea spray, rain, dust, electrostatic discharge and even short -term immersion in water."

Meanwhile, according to Amnesty International, only this year two minors were killed in the United States from Teisers, and since June 2001 after the “meeting” with Taser pistols, 351 people died, and most of the killed weapons did not have weapons. However, the company won 96 out of 97 court lawsuits filed against it.
