Putin and Rasputin discussed the problems of the ecology of Baikal

The village is an extensive territory to which original examples of Russian wooden architecture, residential buildings, schools and other buildings of the 17-19 centuries were transported from different places of the Irkutsk region and Buryatia.

Putin also visited the Kuznechny shop located in the village, where he met the work of the Baikal blacksmiths.
