IMF will solve the fate of the next tranche for Minsk in August

In mid -August, the mission of the International Monetary Fund will pay a visit to Belarus. As a result of negotiations with her, Minsk expects to receive a third tranche of a loan worth about $ 679 million, said the first deputy chairman of the National Bank Pavel Kallaur.

The IMF collaborates with Belarus, affected by the economic crisis under the Stand-by-by-Ben-Benza Program, Reuters reports.

Since the beginning of the year, the country has already received two tranches of loans from the IMF worth about 1.5 billion dollars and, until the summer of next year, expects to get three more tranches of 679 million each.

"We are preparing, we try to observe the obligations as much as possible. However, there are situations that are not always predicted ... questions may arise related to how much certain quality indicators are completed," Kallaur said.

The IMF, which increased in July the lending of Belarus by a billion dollars, has recently responded to the economic policy of the Belarusian authorities: the Fund approved the devaluation of the Belarusian ruble at the beginning of the year, the expansion of the corridor of fluctuations in the course and tightening of the budget policy.
