Experts increased US GDP growth forecasts

New York (Reuters)-economists improved the forecasts of US GDP dynamics for the next quarters, but now they are expecting a higher level of unemployment at the end of the year, FRB of Philadelphia said. Economists increased the prognosis of the growth of American GDP in the third quarter to 2.4 percent in the annual calculus from 0.4 percent, the quarterly study of the Federal Republic of Factory. In the fourth quarter, experts expect economics growth at 2.2 percent instead of the previous 1.7 percent. As before, specialists on average expect that the unemployment rate in the third quarter will be 9.6 percent, and in the fourth will increase to 9.9 percent. Before that, they predicted unemployment in the fourth quarter at 9.8 percent. “Forecasters see an improvement in growth prospects, but also a deterioration in the situation in the labor market,” said FRB of Philadelphia.
