A local resident with a grenade launcher was detained in Nazran. He is checked for involvement in terrorist attacks

A resident of the city of Nazran was detained in one of the private houses of Plievsky municipal district of Ingushetia. A disposable grenade launcher "fly" was removed from him.

"During the operational -search measures to search and detain persons involved in the explosion at the GUVD building in Nazran, a local resident was detained in one of the private houses, who, as a result of investigative actions, pointed to a cache with weapons," the Interfax agency in the law enforcement agencies of the republic said.

According to a representative of law enforcement agencies, the cache was a disposable grenade launcher "fly", as well as a tent and other equipment.

Currently, investigative actions are being carried out with the detainee - the channel of acquisition by him a grenade launcher is being established, its involvement in the explosion at the building of the city department of the internal affairs in Nazran is checked.

As previously reported, the terrorist attack in Nazran on August 17 this year took a life of 24 people, about 250 more were injured in varying severity.
