The Russian Ski Raxes (FLGR) announced the creation of a special commission to investigate the latest doping services among members of the Russian national team Natalia Matveeva, Yulia Chepalova, Evgeny Dementieva and Nina Rysina.
The commission was headed by Vice President of the FLGR Vladimir Pletnev. It also included the head coach of the Russian team in skiing Yuri Charkovsky and the executive secretary of the FLGR Yuri Garmash. It is planned that the director of the Moscow “anti -doping center” Grigory Rodchenkov will also be a member of the commission.
“Vladimir Pletnev has been working with ski races for more than ten years, and naturally, is aware of everything that is happening,” the head of the FLGR Vladimir Loginov said in an interview with the entire sport agency. “He has been helping our athletes for a long time, he knows - in general, I decided that Pletnev will become the best candidate for the position of the chairman of the commission.”
The commission will have to figure out where this prohibited drug came from, and indicate measures so that such cases are not repeated in the future.
“I’m already tired of repeating, please write this in big letters: erythropoetin does not fall into the body sexually! Therefore, all the conversations from the series“ did not know ”,“ accidentally ” - are simply funny. In the national team we are sharply against taking prohibited drugs. And are very tough in relation to those who violate these rules,” added Loginov.
