Russians triumphantly started at the European Basketball Championship

On Friday in Polish Gdansk, the European basketball championship among men's teams started. The Russian team successfully began the tournament, having outpassed the Latvian team in the first round with a score of 81:68 (28:21, 11:15, 19:16, 23:16).

The most effective in the current European champions were Kelly McCarti (24 points) and Sergey Bykov (22). At the Latvian team, Caspers Kambala scored 22 points.
