As a graduate of the Ufa Oil Institute and as the head of the region, where the Ufa Oil State Technical University is now located, it is well familiar with the opinion of the professionals of the oil and gas industry of the Russian Federation on the high quality of the training of specialists and on the level of professional competence of its faculty. I am sure that in most regions of the country there are such educational institutions that are among the authoritative and leading specialists in their field of training.
To concentrate the best graduates of Russian schools in Moscow by promoting the status of metropolitan universities means to seriously brake the process of modernizing and introducing innovative approaches in the economy of the whole country. It is necessary to further make every effort to ensure that the quality of education is equally high regardless of the location of the educational institution. Only with this approach we will really create equal conditions for obtaining higher education for all Russian citizens, wherever they graduate.
