We already have scandals with the Arctic Sea - through the roof. If now, Mikhail, they put you in jail, then it will be a new scandal that we don’t need for hell, ”the editor-in-chief of the Marine Bulletin-Sovfracht, Mikhail Voitenko, heard on September 1 on his mobile phone. The caller did not introduce himself, but Voitenko had no doubts that this man was really a “statesman”. The first plane he flew to Istanbul. And subsequent events showed that he did the right thing.

Who, if not statesmen, could scare the leadership of Sovfracht to such an extent that it literally lost its mind. On September 3, a message appeared on the website of the bulletin that the editor-in-chief of MB Sovfracht did not even think of running anywhere, but was sent “on a business trip to Istanbul” to study foreign experience. Either the Sovfracht bosses themselves realized that no one would believe this nonsense, or the curators explained it to them, but on the same day, a statement taken out of Voitenko, unknown by what ticks, appeared on the site: “... I am on a business trip in Istanbul, I am preparing some interesting reports ". Everyone, of course, understood what such a statement was worth, but formally everything was observed - he himself confirmed it. However, Voitenko is an independent man: apparently, the journalist was sick of his superiors and this lie, and he sent everyone away. In Sovfrakht, they were incredibly happy about this (a woman with a cart ...) and hurried to emboss a message on their website that was absolutely self-revealing: “In a telephone conversation, Mikhail announced his resignation from the post of editor-in-chief of the Marine Bulletin-Sovfrakht in connection with a number of conflicting statements about his mysterious "disappearance". He also said that he was tired of "lying to everyone." It is clear who organized this "series of contradictory statements" and because of whom Voitenko had to lie to everyone.

So, the statesmen, having shatted themselves from head to toe, achieved their goal: an intelligent, active, caring person left Russia. He left because he did his job well. Missing Russian ship - the first to sound the alarm. At the same time, Voitenko basically refused to comment on the reasons for the disappearance of the ship. He was only interested in the fate of people. In an interview the journalist gave The New Times a week before the escape, he said: "The most important thing for me is whether this (what happened to the Arctic Sea) poses a threat to shipping and crew." When asked what happened to the ship, he briefly answered: "This is a special operation."
