In the case of the sisters, all laws were violated"Daily Journal" , as promised, continues to follow the case of Vali Purovaya , 16-year-old pupil of the Bogolyubsky monastery. The church leadership has already responded to what was happening: the head of the press service of the Moscow Patriarchate, Priest Vladimir Vigilyansky, said that even if one tenth facts are confirmed, the response from the holiness will be tough. While Valya continues to live in the Moscow Shelter "Road to the House" and we turned for additional clarifications to the head of medical programs of the Foundation "There is no alcoholism and drug addiction" (NAS) to the psychiatrist Sergey Polyatykin , who observes the girl.

"Hedgehog": When we only published Valino a letter, many suspicious that it was faked or written under the dictation of journalists: they say, too smooth, the girl could not write like that without education. But Valya wrote a letter, already being in your shelter, so everything happened before your eyes. What do you say?
SP: Valino education really does not correspond to age, since the monastery did not send the children to school and all were issued an external system, but it, you know, in a sense, a sample of rubberity, there is a term that means vitality and vitality. Even in conditions of limited information, and not only - the children were limited both in food and in a dream plus hard physical labor, a meaningless repetition of rituals, neither from the heart or from the heart - she retained a high level of intelligence. She read a lot of Russian classics, Tolstoy, Leskov, and she has a very developed language and a developed conceptual apparatus, she tells well, it is pleasant to listen to her. So she wrote a letter herself, we preserved her drafts, the first option, the second option. The only help was that we discussed with her how the world works - who is the main in our country, who protects children and so on.
- And how does Valya contact with other children?
- Of course, it is difficult for her, because the guys grew up in very different conditions. But due to her rubberity, she correctly perceives these difficulties. If a child with less developed abilities to understanding what is happening will respond to difficulties in relations with aggression or a reduced mood, then, in general, she copes well.
-And you did not try to somehow demolish the abode, talk to the abbess?
-I still never encountered church problems, but when Valya came to us, willy-nilly watched the information in the press about this monastery and came to the conclusion that there was nothing to discuss with them-the psychology of these people is understandable, I’m still a psychiatrist.
- In general, this is the first case in your orphanage when a child from a church shelter comes to you?
- Yes, the first.
-How, in your opinion, could this situation be legally resolved?
-Firstly, it arose in a violation of all laws. When children are transferred to another person under guardianship or trusteeship, they always indicate the cause and terms in the decree. The reasons can be different: it is one thing when the child is an orphan and he has no other opportunity to get a job, and in this case, Vali's mother wrote a certain will about the arrangement of girls in the monastery. But, excuse me, the child is not a thing to transmit him by will. The guardianship authorities were obliged to investigate other possibilities for the construction of children - to look for relatives, for example, they have relatives in the Rostov region. Further, when the child is transferred to guardianship or trusteeship, the material capabilities of the guardian or trusteer are found out to keep children. And in the Bogolyubsky monastery, all children are decorated with one of his residents - I do not want to call these women the nuns, because a person who devotes his life to God does not behave thus. The conditions for the residence of children should be clarified, and this woman is registered at the address of the monastery. So she does not have her own housing. It turns out that children do not have any guarantee of the device of life at all: on a formal basis they are assigned to people who have no source of income and do not have their own housing. They are not issued passports, medical insurance policies are not issued.
- So the inhabitants of the Bogolyubsky monastery themselves do not have passports - they are also ardent opponents of new Russian passports and refused to receive them. In 2002-2003, Archimandrite Peter had a serious conflict about this with the ruling bishop, he was even banned in the service, but then forgiven. I think all the children are decorated on one woman precisely because others have no passports.
-Everyone can have their own bzik in his head-this is his personal business, but you do not go to other people with your Bziks. Why violate the rights of other citizens? That's when a person grows up and can make an independent choice, let him make it. And these children were actually deprived of the possibility of choice, deprived of the opportunity to build their own lives on their own. They are spread in conditions when they are deprived of information about the surrounding reality, they are imposed on a primitive point of view on the world, which is presented in the sermons and books of a citizen of a coachman who is supposedly a confessor of these women. Naturally, when for many years a limited idea of the world has been formed, the children are disoriented. This is supplemented by the deprivation of documents, according to the law of those who are entitled to every citizen, and to everything they cannot get housing in accordance with the law - that is, children are powerless in all respects. Another former pupil of the monastery, from the Rostov region - the nuns themselves gave her parents because they could not cope - still cannot adapt to life: she has fears, she is afraid of the surrounding world, and she is afraid to receive a passport. Fasts are all irrational, they are not justified. In fact, this upbringing in quotation marks leads to the fact that children are socially maladaptated, they cannot be full-fledged members of society, but can exist only in some specific conditions-they are spiritual slaves.
- It seems to you, why in the monastery they cling to Valya so much, she runs for the second time, for the first time she was returned, why did they not want to let her go?
-Imagine that there is a group of people with some of their personal problems who have lost their flock and organized such a system to solve their personal problems-this is necessary for their assertion. Yes, we have a lot of people, like Mom Vali, they are not socially arranged, they have problems in relations with relatives, they have problems with employment, with raising children. But instead of providing real assistance to these people - psychological, social, to employ them, try to adapt in this world - some use their psychological weakness for their selfish purposes, tied them to themselves. Thus, they assert themselves, increase their self -esteem by reducing the self -esteem of others: Valya says that in the monastery they constantly explained how bad they are. But this situation is characteristic not only for the monastery, we can see it all the time, starting from any closed team, whether it be a cadet corps, an army, and often even a labor collective. This is a frequent situation in human relationships, complicated by social defect.
- It is known that the head of your fund, Oleg Zykov, is a large supporter of juvenile justice. Could juvenile justice in this case help to successfully resolve the situation?
- The meaning of juvenile justice is that specialized judicial procedures exist to solve complex life problems of minors. The task of these procedures is to take into account the characteristics of the personality of the child and his environment. There cannot be such a primitive way of making decisions, as in this case: according to the sisters, the pen of the head of the administration was as a radish in the market, to transfer all three to the abbess of the monastery, and the point. So it should not be, such decisions should be made only after a thorough study of all circumstances. Starting from some material things and ending with the characteristics of the psyche, behavior, health of children, etc. And when this is not taken into account, such troubles are obtained. Valya Perova is not the only case. We know that a citizen of Ukraine is illegally held in this monastery, who has lost health and became disabled from hard work there, is held by the adult daughter of Teleskov , who suffers from a serious illness, and in fact, people who are presented with nuns impede her in receiving medical care, which is a crime not only before God and their conscience, but also before the civil government.
- It is known that the existing Russian legislation on part of orphanages, including church, is extremely unsteady, there are continuous gaps, which to a large extent make such cases possible. Juvenal justice is still at the initial stage of development. So, maybe for starters it is worth it to improve this legislation, clearly prescribe what a state orphanage is, what is a church shelter so that there are no such cases.
- Of course, it’s worth it. The whole world is following the path of improving procedures. The French, for example, in the 45th heavy post-war year found the opportunity to create such a specialized sector proceedings as juvenile justice. The Canadians have all procedures, literally by the Canadian justice, there is no room for the arbitrariness of the official and no other arbitrariness, they clearly describe all the events that allow you to take into account the characteristics of the child’s personality and all the circumstances of the case. Recently, I talked with the French, and I was struck by this fact: in 1997, a situation was legislatively adopted, which requires interrogation of a child who suffered from violence, to record the video. The goal is that the child does not receive additional injury during repeated interrogations. Another important nuance: when the child is constantly asked, he perceives it as a distrust of his words and begins to change testimonies. Feel what the level of care of the child is? But now this order, video recording of interrogation, is also common in adults. That is, juvenile justice affects not only the position of children, but also helps to protect adult rights. I like the slogan invented by the juvenilers of the Rostov region: "The rights of the child are your rights." Previously, the slogan "The rights of a child is higher than all rights" seemed to me correctly, and now I am inclined to agree with the Rostovites.
- So what will happen to Valya?
- Now there was a man, an Orthodox believer from the Vladimir region, who filed an application with the Suzdal custody to issue a guardianship of Valya. Valya knows her, they treat each other well. Perhaps her fate will be arranged in this way. Now there is a noise around this case, for some reason part of the exalted citizens perceives it as attacks on Orthodoxy. I would like to say these citizens: do not identify themselves with Orthodoxy.
