The outgoing week takes place under the sign of the airborne forces of Russia, which distinguished themselves in the uncompromising struggle for the property of their commander and his closest relatives. The scandal happened to the hero of Russia Vladimir Shamanov, who was ready to send special forces for the Airborne Forces in order to “block” and “intern” of the investigator who came according to official need for one small undermaster. The audio recording of a telephone conversation reproduced by the “New Gazeta” leaves no doubt - it turns out that the brave general is still, as they say, and sews a little. That is, if you call a spade a spade, uses the troops subordinate to him to roof a business. In this case, practically his own, because, according to the press reports, the husband of the daughter (the girl, apparently, was married successfully at one time), “authority” nicknamed the “block”, which belongs to the SporttEC plant, is on the international wanted list. And the affairs of a fugitive bandit in Russia are now led by the son of Vladimir Shamanov - Yuri.

Here, of course, is the time to sympathize with the poor general - his children grew up in kind. (Colonel Yuri Budanov, General Shamanov, formally, in my opinion, did not adopt ...) And on the other hand, when he was to educate them? Far garrisons, campaigns, wars ... You understand ... And now what remains? Only the special forces are sent-children still need to help. However, this whole criminal story leaves a reason for restrained optimism. Still, fate, sometimes, and we and investigators of the UK presents pleasant surprises. Just imagine for a moment, how would the relations of Vladimir Shamanov develop with various government agencies, criminal colleagues and other citizens of our country, if he had been appointed to the commander of the not airborne forces of Russia, but, say, missile and missiles? I'm afraid there could already be a deep funnel on the site of the SCP department in the Moscow region ...

Here, of course, it is important that General Vladimir Shamanov is a figure in our armed forces in a certain sense symbolic. The hero of both Chechen wars, an uncompromising fighter for the integrity of Russia, in fact - the banner of all those for whom the formula “with these Chechens only must be done” was the justification of atrocities created for many years in Chechnya. And what he did, we remember. And the European Court of Human Rights remembers, and in Chechnya itself, I assure you, they will not forget about Shamanov’s exploits soon. About how at the beginning of the second war he ordered not to release refugees from Chechnya, how, by the autumn of 1999, on the orders of Shamanov, the attack aircraft shot a column of refugees on the Rostov-Baku highway, about the famous Shamanovsky “cleansing” (for example, the village of Alkhan-Yurt, where almost twenty civilians were killed), about the artillery gun-yurt (then Already almost two hundred people died). And these are only “exploits” that come to mind immediately, with one mention of the name of Vladimir Shamanov. And how many more there were ...

Here, of course, the obvious question arises - what is the relationship of the criminal military past of General Shamanov has his criminal present? It seems to be no. True, it is known that the troops under the control of Shamanov’s marked more and more captive than others.

In August 1999, I witnessed one funny episode. The troops of the 58th Army, which was then led by Vladimir Shamanov, who had just been appointed to this position, “after heavy and long battles” took the Dagestan village of Karamakhi, according to the then local chiefs-the stronghold of Wahhabism in Dagestan. In fact, the village, practically, did not defend - the men dug trenches along the road leading to the village a couple of times they shot towards the impending troops, and how the artillery earned, took their families and went into the forest. A day later, the women returned to see what happened to their property. With one of these women, I spoke on the threshold of her dilapidated house, in which the shell fell. “Half of the house where the kitchen was did not suffer at all,” she said, “the walls are intact, the floor is safe, even the rug remained ... But the refrigerator, completely new, disappeared somewhere ...” “So contact the military superiors,” I advised. “I turned ... the general know what answered? ... What now such shells came up with that when he gets into one part of the house, into another, not injured, everything is sprayed into molecules ...”

Of course, I can’t vouch that it was Vladimir Shamanov who turned out to be such a witty general, but perhaps the attitude to someone else's property in the “enemy” territory has now spread throughout the country-after all, ten years have passed.

The general himself does not deny that the conversation about the transfer of special forces to the SporttEK plant took place. However, he sincerely does not understand what to blame him for? The military operation was ultimately canceled. Probably canceled because the investigator of the SCP Oleg Tselipotkin was beaten by some other bandits that day. Not Russian paratroopers under the leadership of Vladimir Shamanov.
