
The official representative of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed the information that the General Director of the Mohammed El Baradei agency intends to visit Iran.
"The general director was invited to Tehran by the Iranian authorities," said the IEA, Magate representative Jill Tudor. According to him, the head of the agency "will go there soon to discuss a number of problems," RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier, Reuters reported that El Baradei would pay a visit to Iran at the end of this week. This agency said one of the official representatives of the American delegation at Thursday, October 1, in Geneva of the Six negotiations under the nuclear program of Iran, who wished to remain unnamed.
The meeting was attended by the Supreme Representative of the European Union for General Policy and Security Javier Solan and deputy heads of foreign policy departments of Russia, the USA, Great Britain, China, Germany and France.
In the negotiations, Iran was represented by the secretary of the Supreme Council of National Security Said Jalili. The Russian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Ryabkov.
Based on the results of the negotiations, the parties came to the agreement that the IAEA inspectors will visit the new Uranus enrichment plant in Iranian Kuma within two weeks.
The parties also decided to intensify the negotiation process, within the framework of which they agreed to hold a second meeting no later than the end of October.
