The Internet defeats television. The audience of torrent resources grew by more than 50% per year

Internet users continue to lose interest in television: for example, they prefer to download the series, and not wait for the show on TV. Accordingly, the audience of torrent resources has grown by more than 50%over the past year, Kaker.ru reports with reference to the TorrentFreak publication.

Analysts call the main reason for the growth of interest in torrents the impatience of users who simply do not want to wait for new episodes of their favorite series for several months. In addition, TV shows are laid out on sites already without advertising, which often irritates and interferes with pleasant viewing.

Approximately the same trend is observed in Runet, where it is not yet a special struggle with torrents, as is the case in the West.

Russian users have another “good” reason for downloading films from the Internet - this is the reluctance of Russian channels to show Western series that are frantic among Internetmen.

For example, one of the most beloved series of the Runettes, Dr. House, about the talented and cynical doctor-diagnosta Gregory House, did not like the television channel "Home". Several seasons were broadcast, but then the show was suspended.

According to representatives of the press service, the audience of the channel does not coincide with the audience of the series. In addition, bloggers were dissatisfied with the low quality of the translation and unsuccessful voice acting.

A funny story also came out with the Russian series "Capercaillie", which was recognized by TNS Gallup Media the most popular series of September. The second season appeared on torrents even earlier than the NTV channel showed it.
