Galina Khovanskaya was restored as a candidate in the elections of the Moscow City Duma on the list of the Fair Russia party. This decision was made by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, Interfax reports on Friday.
On October 3, the Moscow City Court excluded Khovanskaya from the list of "Fair Russia", thereby satisfying the lawsuit of the Yabloko party. Now this decision is canceled.
Earlier, Khovanskaya, who is a deputy of the State Duma, was a member of Yabloko, but in 2007 left the ranks of this party. Her former associates accused the candidate for deputies of abuse of authority, violation of the rules of agitation and bribing voters.

The decision to exclude Khovanskaya from the list of "Fair Russia" was disputed by both the politician and its party, as well as the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation.
Elections to the Moscow City Duma will be held on the next Sunday, October 11. Six parties will take part in them: "United Russia", "Fair Russia", the Communist Party, the LDPR, "Yabloko" and "Patriots of Russia".
