PSV management invited the head coach of the Russian national team, Guus Hiddink, to join the club’s supervisory board. A few months ago, club president Fritz Schuitema offered the ex-mentor to head an important position on the board, but Hiddink refused because he intends to concentrate on his current job, reports Eindhovens Dagblad . At the same time, Hiddink was sincerely flattered by the offer.

Hiddink called this proposal a “broad gesture”, but did not want to agree to it. Now the main thing for him is to lead the Russian team to the World Championships in South Africa, and then perform successfully at the world championship. Perhaps the decision of the Dutch specialist was also influenced by the fact that now the club’s management is far from ideal; over the past three seasons, funding has decreased, income has been hidden, which was not noticed at the club before.

Therefore, PSV needs a person who will join the supervisory board and be able to change the whole situation in a favorable direction. The Dutch club plans to soon find new sponsors and increase its income in order to implement innovative projects, for example, to expand the stadium.

The next day he will attend two matches of the 28th round of the Russian Premier League: CSKA - Rubin (Luzhniki, start at 14.00) and Lokomotiv - Amkar (Lokomotiv Stadium, 19.00). Let us remind you that the national team’s training camp before the matches with the Slovenian national team will begin on November 10. By 12.00 the players must arrive at the Moscow Grand Marriott Hotel.
