The judge already made it clear that the evidence collected by the police did not suit him. Taking advantage of this, the defense at a court hearing is going to file a petition for the release of the defendants.

As the newspaper told one of the Russian lawyers working in Dubai, who was present at the last meeting of the criminal court of first instance and familiarized with the materials of the criminal case, the volume of the case is about 5,000 pages, so the participants in the process were only able to read it until the end and analyze it.

According to the interlocutor of the publication, this explains the delay in the proceedings - the meetings that began on August 31 were transferred several times, and only on October 26 the presiding Hamad Abdul Latif Javad began to consider a criminal case on the merits.

Witnesses from the prosecution invited to the first meeting, where they began to consider the case on the merits, seemed police, one way or another involved in the investigation of the murder. The judge did not like this, and he allowed only one of them to speak.

The scheme of evidence of the guilt of Ismatov and Lornia, which was built by the police, seemed unconvincing not only to the defenders of the defendants, but also the presiding judge. He stated that he would like to see other evidence in the hall, as well as civil witnesses who are ready to confirm the police assumptions. If his requirements are not met, Judge Hamad Abdul Latif Javad made it clear that he could consider defending the release of the defendants for a recognizance not to leave. As noted by Russian lawyers working in Dubai, this indicates that the presidential has already developed a certain opinion on the criminal case.

Brother Sulima Yamadayev Isa, convinced that his relative escaped with a wound and is currently undergoing treatment in a secret clinic, believes that it is impossible to free the defendants in any case: “If you let them go, they will immediately fly from Dubai, as the performers of the assassination,” said Isa Yamadaev.
