By the end of this year, Sberbank plans to reduce the number of personnel by 10%, as a result of which more than 27 thousand people can remain without work.
However, as a survey conducted by the Superjob.ru recruiting portal among representatives of Russian banks, there is a demand for former Sberbank employees. 46% of representatives of personnel services of other banks will be happy to accept people who have experience in the largest financial institution of the country. In their opinion, such employees are “good specialists”, “professionals”, “trained, competent people”.
The ex-employees of Sberbank are not ready to accept 14% of representatives of Russian banks. Most of them doubt the professionalism and competencies of banking workers, and also consider Sberbank in many ways the “Soviet structure”, whose employees do not really want to work.
40% of bank representatives were difficult to answer with the answer to the question. Some of them for the first time hear about the prepared abbreviations in Sberbank and for this reason they are not yet ready to give an answer. Others note that for them the previous place of work of the applicant does not play a decisive role.
This week, Sberbank also announced plans to significantly reduce staff: up to 25% of employees will be dismissed within five years. Until the end of this year, almost 27 thousand people will fall under the reduction - 10% of the total number of employees in the bank.
