In Athens "reached progress" on the Karabakh problem

Armenia and Azerbaijan "reached progress" in negotiations on the problem of Nagorno -Karabakh. It is reported that the meeting of representatives of Yerevan and Baku took place as part of the so -called Minsk OSCE group on observation of the Karabakh issue.

The ministers of the OSCE member countries gathered on Tuesday in Athens. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that such meetings significantly contribute to the development of dialogue between the parties.

The conflict around the Nagorno-Karabakh arose in the early 1990s, when the Armenia troops established control over this region in Azerbaijan.
