UN Secretary General Pan Hi Moon decided to appoint the famous American musician Stevie Wander, the messenger of the UN world. The musician often holds concerts, both in the USA and abroad, the fees from which they go to assist people in need.

In addition, Wander is also known as a fighter for human rights. In the 80s of the last century, he was at the head of the movement for the proclamation of Martin Luther King's birthday by the US National Festival. The musician also took an active part in the fight against an apartheid in South Africa.

The UN Secretary General "delighted that Stevie Wander constantly advocated to make this world better in order to protect the human rights and civil rights of those who were unlucky in life," the UN Secretary General said.

The musician, according to Pan Hi Moon, "became an inspirer for young people around the world, showing what can be achieved, despite the limited physical capabilities."
