Sochi residents protest against relocation in connection with the Olympics

From 500 to 800 people, dissatisfied with the conditions of relocation in connection with the construction of Olympic facilities in Sochi, took part in the rally last Sunday, Kommersant reports. According to the publication, the protest rally took place in the Nizhneimeretinskaya bay.

Residents announced the refusal to leave their homes, insisting that the Olympstroy Civil Code, dealing with resettlement issues, underestimates the redemption value of their real estate. According to the townspeople, they will not have enough money offered to purchase new housing.

The audience announced the distrust of the Olympstroy state corporation and asked the authorities with the defense "from her arbitrariness."
