Decree Putin was revived by DOSAAF

The Russian defense sports and technical organization was transformed into a voluntary society for the assistance of the army, aviation and navy-DOSAAF. The corresponding resolution, signed by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, was published on Monday at the Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

Along with the military-patriotic education of citizens, the preparation of young replenishment for the army in military-study specialties and the development of aviation-technical sports, the organization will be prepared by civilian specialists of technical professions and reserve officers. In addition, DOSAAF pupils will participate in the elimination of emergency situations, helping experts of the Ministry of Emergencies carry out rescue work with natural disasters and disasters.

It is planned to approve the program of the company's work by the summer of 2010. It is reported that membership in the organization will be voluntary. It is planned that schoolchildren will be able to join the ranks of DOSAAF from the age of 14, as it was in Soviet times.

First of all, the military-patriotic organization is designed to solve the problem of the lack of military specialists. According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the need for soldiers with technical training in the Russian army has recently increased from 80 thousand to 180 thousand people, and the list of military specialties has already 50 positions. The head of DOSAAF Sergey Maev expects that the third lesson of physical education, which is introduced in schools in the country, will be dedicated to military-applied sports.

With the transformation of the organization, its material and technical capabilities will expand. The military has already promised to transfer the organizations of 400 cars; A hundred more cars will purchase a society under the state defense order.
