The state asks oilmen to employ the workers of AvtoVAZ

The Ministry of Energy is trying to solve the problems of AvtoVAZ with the help of oil workers - officials are asking them to employ the fired plant workers. AvtoVAZ takes about 12.5 thousand people for the staff. Half was promised to return in 2012, but there is no understanding of which vacancies can be proposed, the Kommersant newspaper writes.

The newspaper was at the disposal of the deputy head of the Ministry of Energy Sergey Kudryashov, dated December 10. In it, the official offers oil and gas companies to consider the issue of employment "released employees of OJSC AvtoVAZ."

They could be employed "using a shift work method" either in oil and gas companies themselves, or in structures that provide service services to them, writes Mr. Kudryashov. He notes that he appeals to the participants in the oil and gas industry with a similar proposal "as part of the order of the Government of the Russian Federation."

The Ministry of Energy confirmed the authenticity of the letter, but the companies to which it was sent was not called. They only clarified that we are talking about those who use the shift method of work. The ministry added that the idea to employ the workers of AvtoVAZ in the oil and gas industry came from the Ministry of Regional Development. At AvtoVAZ, they did not hear anything about the letter of the Ministry of Energy.

In TNK-BP, Rosneft, Gazprom Neft and Gazprom, the Ministry of Energy did not comment. The Kommersant source in Rosneft noted that the company has a moratorium on the reception of new employees, introduced on October 1, 2008: only vacancies are replaced, which are associated with economic, industrial and technological safety. Since that time, about 7 thousand jobs have been freed in Rosneft.

In its memorandum, Lukoil, to the placement of Eurobonds, reported that the number of its employees in the first half of 2009, compared with 2008, decreased by 6.9 thousand people. Surgutneftegaz, however, increased the number of employees in the crisis: as of June 30, it increased by 2% with respect to the first half of 2008 - up to 94.5 thousand people. By October, the number of employees of the company increased by another 2 thousand people.

AvtoVAZ repeatedly stated that the number of his staff is redundant (at the beginning of November - 94 thousand people). In November, the plant created two subsidiaries-AvtoVAZ-Property and Reform Center, into which 12.4 thousand people will be withdrawn. Despite the fact that these subsidiaries will belong to AvtoVAZ 100%, their employees will pay the state.

The AvtoVAZ leadership promised that almost half of the employees (about 6 thousand people) transferred to the "daughters" would be able to return to the factory for permanent work in 2011-2012. First of all, this applies to employees of AvtoVAZ -Pristence, which should be proposed to work in the new production of AvtoVAZ - conveyor for the assembly of Renault models.
