Ukraine will put up an informal singer for Eurovision

Ukraine without noise and dust chose its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. This spring, a certain Vasily Lazarovich will go to Oslo, who, with his lyrical bass baritone, promises to leave the competition as much as possible.

The decision on the participation of Lazarovich was almost unanimously adopted by the Artistic Council of the National Television Company of Ukraine. Of the 11 members of the Art Council, 10 supported the singer’s candidacy, UNIAN reports citing the press service of the first national television channel.

“I’ll do everything to move away from the Eurovision format - energetic songs performed in a high voice,” Lazarovich promised at a press conference. The performer classifies a low voice to his advantages, but he still does not know what will sing at the competition.

“Over the past five years, I have not heard a single low voice on Eurovision-so let Europe find out that there are real men in Ukraine! I don’t know what I will sing. I don’t want to repeat“ Grinjol ”and sing something patriotic, although I don’t want to sing about love ... In general, I will sing something lyrical in a low voice. And everyone can send all the proposals to NTO-we asked for all the sentences,” Lazarovich.

“I am convinced that Vasily Lazarovich will adequately present Ukraine in Norway with his bass baritone. It was decided not to create a stir around the Eurovision Supervision contest”, to elect the representative through internal voting, ”his President Vasily Ilashchuk explained the policy of NTKU.

However, an important criterion when choosing a candidate was the presence of sponsors who were ready to support the singer and television company. So, some musical figures already consider the victory of the "lyric baritone" the result of the "subcover games", Proua.com notes
