The famous politician, member of the political committee of the Russian United Democratic Party "Yabloko" Sergey Ivanenko was detained on Wednesday, January 6, at the Moscow Domodedovo airport, when passing passport control after he returned with an 18-year-old daughter from Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt).

As Ivanenko told Interfax by phone, he was detained at about 22:15 Moscow time, "when he expressed the employee of the border service to dissatisfaction with the poor organization of the passport control service, forcing passengers to spend a lot of time on passport control."

According to Ivanenko, the employee selected a foreign passport from him and called the boss, who introduced himself as Lieutenant Colonel of the FSB, Vladimir Antipov, who detained him.

The daughter of Sergei Ivanenko was released and left home.

In the preparation, according to the politician, he was charged with that he did not obey the legal request of the soldier to pass border control, and it was argued that he violated public order.

Ivanenko was a fine of one thousand rubles for an administrative offense. He did not sign the protocol. Employees of the border service shot on a video camera after the detention.

Around 23:15 border guards handed it to Ivanenko to the linear administration of the internal affairs. At the request of the politician, his examination was carried out here for alcohol in the body and a complete absence of alcohol was recorded in writing.

In the police, Ivanenko wrote a statement in which, according to him, "expressed indignation by the illegal actions of the FSB officers." About 0:30 on Thursday, January 7, more than two hours after the detention and three and a half hours after arrival, he was released without taking any measures against him.

Commenting on what happened, Sergei Ivanenko said that he would not pay the fine issued to him by the employees of the border service, and if it comes to court, "he will be happy to take part in it."

Ivanenko intends to turn to the FSB director in writing with a demand to figure out what is happening in his department. " “Now the FSB is a state in the state, its structure is created in such a way that the FSB officers are courageous over people because they feel complete impunity,” the politician noted.
