On the site of the regional government in the "Public Procurement" section, an announcement has already appeared about a tender "for the provision of information services for the needs of the Omsk region in 2010."

All lots are for federal agencies, electronic media and print publications. The first lot consists of two items, one of them - "Consulting on creating informational occasions" indicates the severity of the situation in the region. It seems that he is in such a deep crisis that it will be difficult for Omsk officials to come up with a reason to praise themselves. Supernatural creativity will be required, which is why the price of this lot is decent - 8.5 million rubles. The remaining two are traditional: “Covering the activities of the Governor, the Government of the Omsk Region, and other state authorities.” Total: 18.5 million rubles.

The line "Television and radio broadcasting" contains 150 million rubles, "Periodical press" - 80. But this is probably not all the amounts allocated for "optimization": there are "information services" in some other sections of the budget. So, there is no doubt that in this most difficult year for the region, its authorities will look no worse than in previous ones.
