The grandson of Joseph Stalin Yevgeny Dzhugashvili, who had previously defended his grandfather's honor in Russian courts, decided to achieve justice in Ukraine. He demands to initiate a criminal case against employees of the security service of the country (SBU) and judges who decided to recognize Stalin guilty of organizing the famine of the 1930s - the Holodomor.
The other day, the Kiev appeal court found the “Ukrainian National Group” of the leaders of the CPSU (b) and the Communist Party of Ukraine - Joseph Stalin, Vyacheslav Molotov, Lazari Kaganovich, Stanislav Kosior, Vlas Chubar, Mendel Khataevich. The court stated that these persons committed a crime under Part 1 of Article 442 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Genocide) and closed the criminal case in connection with their death.

- To defend the honor of the grandfather in Russia, the grandson of Stalin failed
The grandson of Stalin sent a letter to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General Alexander Medvedko demanding to institute criminal proceedings against the SBU and judges who made a decision, the Ukrainian newspaper Today reports on Monday.
"Without going into the essence of this false accusation, more appropriate from the main enemy of Stalin - Hitler, and not from the prosecutor, as it were, a democratic state, I draw attention to the fact that even from a formal point of view in the early 30s in Ukraine and in the world of genocide, the judges could not help but know that Article 442 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for the punishment for genocide, Introduced in Ukraine in the 1990s and was intended for the consideration of the acts of modern leaders - Kravchuk, Kuchma and Yushchenko, and not the cases of my already dead grandfather.
"Accordingly, the employees of the SBU and the judges cynically trained paragraph 1 of Article 7 of the European Convention on the Protection of Human Rights: no one can be convicted of acts or inactivity, which, according to the current national minimization, were not a crime at the time of the commission," Jugashvili said in a video message sent to the journalists.
Holodomor (certificate)
The famine of 1932-1933 covered the main grain regions of the USSR-Ukraine, the North Caucasus, the Lower and Middle Volga region, a significant part of the central-Black Earth region, Kazakhstan, Western Siberia, and the South Urals. Official Kyiv believes that this hunger was the genocide of the Ukrainian people, and is trying to convince the world community of this. This position of Ukraine causes a categorical disagreement of Russia.
Many Ukrainian politicians indicated the falsification of the "Holodomor case". In particular, at numerous exhibitions organized by the SBU, photographs of the First World War and the early 1920 years were presented, and the data on the number of dead in some areas exceeded the population.
The criminal case on the fact of the genocide in Ukraine in 1932-1933 opened in May 2009 the SBU on the grounds of the crime under Part 1 of Art. 442 Criminal Code. According to the conclusion of a forensic scientific and demographic examination conducted during the pre-trial investigation by the Institute of Demography and Social Research by M. Pitukha of the NAS of Ukraine, as a result of the genocide in Ukraine, 3 million 941 thousand people were killed.
The grandson of Stalin failed to defend the honor of his grandfather in Russia
Recall that earlier the Basmanny court of Moscow twice refused the grandson of the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the CPSU (b) to satisfy the claim against Novaya Gazeta in connection with the publications in which Stalin was called the criminal. Dzhugashvili demanded a refutation, as well as so that the newspaper pays him 10 million rubles of compensation for damage to honor, dignity and reputation.
In addition, in December, Dzhugashvili filed another lawsuit - against the Echo of Moscow radio station . The reason for the lawsuit was the phrase of the host of Matvey Ganapolsky in the program "Interception", in which, according to Dzhugashvili, the memory of his grandfather was offended. After quoting the passage from the book Staliniad, Ganapolsky said: "Stalin signed a decree that it is possible to shoot children from the age of 12. Which of the bastards dare to say at least a word in its defense?" Evgeny Dzhugashvili also estimated his damage at 10 million rubles.
